This vision comes as Meta faces a 91% year-over-year drop in free cash flow due to massive capital expenditures on AI infrastructure. This highlights Meta's aggressive, long-term bet on AI agents as its next major revenue driver, despite immediate financial strain and investor concerns over rising infrastructure costs. Meta's free cash flow fell to $784 million from $8.55 billion last year, while its Reality Labs division lost $4.6 billion this quarter. To support its AI ambitions, Meta is partnering with BlackRock on a $14 billion data center in El Paso, Texas.
