Zhongji Innolight Reports Massive H1 2026 Growth Driven by AI Optical Transceivers

Zhongji Innolight reported a total revenue of 41.78 billion RMB (up 182.49% YoY) and a net profit of 13.651 billion RMB (up 241.7% YoY) for the first half of 2026. This explosive growth was primarily driven by the rapid scaling and shipment of 800G and 1.6T optical transceivers to major AI infrastructure customers. The financial surge highlights the massive global demand for high-speed optical interconnects required to support AI computing clusters. As AI models scale, optical transceivers have become critical bottlenecks and growth drivers in data center hardware. The company's overseas revenue grew by 209.9%, and its 1.6T silicon photonics modules have entered the mass production phase. Additionally, Zhongji Innolight successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) on July 30, 2026, to boost its international expansion.

## BACKGROUND

Optical transceivers are optoelectronic devices that convert electrical signals from network switches or servers into optical signals for high-speed data transmission over fiber optic cables. In AI data centers, where massive amounts of data must be processed with minimal latency, high-bandwidth transceivers like 800G and the newer 1.6T (operating at 1.6 Terabits per second) are essential to prevent communication bottlenecks between GPUs.
