Zhipu AI Lists GLM-5.3 on AWS Bedrock Under Revenue-Sharing Deal

Zhipu AI has launched its flagship GLM-5.3 model on Amazon Web Services' (AWS) Amazon Bedrock platform, adopting a usage-based revenue-sharing agreement to expand its international reach. The Chinese AI provider is establishing a broader commercial network through similar revenue-sharing partnerships with overseas cloud providers as well as domestic platforms like Alibaba Cloud and Huawei Cloud. This partnership opens a scalable global distribution channel for Zhipu AI, making its flagship foundation model directly accessible to enterprise developers worldwide on AWS. It illustrates how leading Chinese AI labs are leveraging major cloud ecosystems to monetize models globally and offset heavy R&D investments. Alongside expanding its distribution channels, Zhipu AI reported strong operational momentum with H1 revenue rising nearly 400% year-over-year to 954 million RMB while narrowing net losses. The company recently completed a $5 billion funding round to support next-generation GLM models and its fully self-training technical infrastructure.
