Xiaomi Announces Xuanjie O3 Flagship AI SoC for Upcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold
Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Xuanjie O3, its new flagship AI SoC featuring a 10-core all-big-core CPU and a 200 TOPS NPU. The processor will make its debut in the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold foldable smartphone, scheduled for release in September. The Xuanjie O3 represents a major milestone in Xiaomi's custom silicon strategy, offering industry-first support for LPDDR6 memory and a heavily AI-optimized architecture. This allows Xiaomi to reduce its reliance on third-party chipmakers while optimizing on-device AI performance for its proprietary MiMo models. The SoC claims an AnTuTu score of over 5.22 million, featuring a G2-Ultra NX GPU with an 85% performance increase and a 64% reduction in power consumption. Additionally, it integrates AI acceleration units across all major modules, including the CPU, GPU, ISP, DPU, and ADSP.
## BACKGROUND
Xiaomi has been developing its proprietary Xuanjie chip lineup to enhance hardware-software integration across its ecosystem. The processor is designed to run Xiaomi's MiMo large language models locally, which power the company's "Human x Car x Home" smart ecosystem.
