Xiaomi Announces Xuanjie D100, China's First 3nm Autonomous Driving AI Chip
Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Xuanjie D100, China's first 3nm autonomous driving AI chip, which is scheduled for commercial deployment next year. The chip features a powerful hardware configuration combining a 20-core CPU and a 16-core NPU. This development marks a significant milestone in China's domestic semiconductor industry, reducing reliance on foreign chipmakers for advanced automotive AI. The chip's ability to run massive 200-billion-parameter models locally could drastically improve real-time decision-making in autonomous vehicles. The Xuanjie D100 supports up to 160GB of unified memory, allowing it to run large language and vision models directly on the vehicle. It utilizes a cutting-edge 3nm manufacturing process to achieve high energy efficiency and processing power.
