Xiaomi Announces September Launch Event Featuring Xuanjie Chips and Xiaomi 18 Series
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced that September will be a major launch month, featuring the debut of the Pengcheng vehicle series, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, and three new custom Xuanjie chips. These chips include the Xuanjie O3 flagship mobile SoC, the Xuanjie O100 AI accelerator, and the Xuanjie D100, which is China's first 3nm autonomous driving AI chip. This announcement highlights Xiaomi's aggressive push into vertical integration, reducing its reliance on third-party chipmakers like Qualcomm for its flagship smartphones and electric vehicles. The introduction of a 3nm automotive AI chip and a highly competitive mobile SoC positions Xiaomi as a major player in both the semiconductor and smart EV industries. The flagship Xuanjie O3 SoC features a 10-core all-large-core CPU, a G2-Ultra NX GPU, and is the world's first mobile processor to support LPDDR6 memory. It achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 5.22 million and delivers 200 TOPS of tensor computing power for on-device AI models.
