Shin won the final game by 11.5 points while receiving a two-stone handicap. This victory demonstrates that the world's top human players can still compete against and defeat elite Go AIs under specific handicap conditions, defying initial pessimistic expectations from the Go community. In the final match, Shin played Black with a 5-hour time limit and one 30-second byo-yomi, while KataGo had no total time limit but was restricted to 20 seconds per move. Shin maintained a 99% win rate throughout the final game, securing a prize of 250 million KRW and a Genesis G90 sedan.
