WeRide Reports H1 FY2026 Results with 73.3% Revenue Growth and 790M RMB Loss
Autonomous driving enterprise WeRide released its H1 financial report for FY2026, showing revenue increased 73.3% year-over-year to 346 million RMB ($126 million RMB gross profit). However, the company also reported a net loss attributable to parent owners of 790 million RMB alongside an operating cash flow loss of 716 million RMB. The financial results highlight strong commercial acceleration and international expansion in autonomous transportation, particularly in markets like the Middle East. At the same time, it illustrates the ongoing profitability challenges and high operational costs facing Level 4 autonomous vehicle companies before reaching widespread scale. Overseas revenue surged by 154.4% year-over-year, helping boost gross margin to 36.6%. As of July 31, 2026, WeRide operates a global Level 4 fleet of approximately 3,400 vehicles—including over 1,800 Robotaxis—with daily orders per vehicle reaching over 21 trips in Q2.
