WeChat Work (WeCom) version 5.0.10 has opened CLI and Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities to all enterprises, allowing mainstream AI agents to directly access ten core office modules. AI agents like DeepSeek Harness and WorkBuddy can now interact with documents, emails, meetings, and calendars without requiring secondary encapsulation. This integration marks a significant step in enterprise AI adoption by using open standards to connect LLMs directly to workplace tools. It enables businesses to automate complex workflows, such as generating reports and analyzing sales data, while maintaining strict enterprise-grade security controls. Users can connect agents simply by running a command like `npx skills add WecomTeam / wecom-unified -y -g` in the agent's chat interface.
