WeChat for HarmonyOS Tests A2A Integration with Celia
WeChat for HarmonyOS version 8.0.22 has begun testing A2A integration, allowing users to wake up Huawei's Celia assistant via voice commands to send text messages and initiate voice or video calls to individual contacts. This integration marks an important step for ecosystem development and cross-app AI interactions on HarmonyOS, bringing native voice assistant capabilities to China's dominant messaging app. Currently, the feature only supports direct messaging and calls with individual contacts; group chats, emojis, and dual-app instances are not yet supported, and Celia must be updated to version 11.7.8.303.
## BACKGROUND
