Wang Teng's Startup ISHO Unveils Flagship Smart Ring Ahead of Launch
Former executive Wang Teng's startup 'ISHO' has officially previewed its flagship ISHO Ring smart ring, featuring aerospace-grade titanium and a sapphire glass inlay ahead of its October 29 launch. This product marks Wang Teng's entry into the competitive AI health wearable market, aiming to provide a complete loop from biometric sensing and analysis to actionable advice and device linkage. The ISHO Ring utilizes an all-titanium inner and outer ring design with a seamless appearance, comes in three colors (gold, black, and silver), and embeds multiple sensors on the inner side for body tracking.
## BACKGROUND
Smart rings are emerging wearable form factors that typically utilize Photoplethysmography (PPG) sensors and accelerometers to monitor health metrics like heart rate and sleep patterns. Due to the high micro-vessel density and thin tissue on fingers, smart rings can often capture accurate health signals compared to traditional wrist-worn devices.
