Unitree Robotics Launches IPO to Raise 6.1 Billion Yuan for Robot R&D
Unitree Robotics has officially launched its IPO subscription at 150.80 yuan per share, aiming to raise approximately 6.1 billion yuan. The company is one of the few profitable general-purpose robotics firms globally, with its net profit reaching 278 million yuan in 2025. This IPO represents a major financial milestone for the embodied AI and robotics sector, demonstrating investor enthusiasm and the commercial viability of general-purpose robots. The substantial funding will accelerate the development of robot foundation models and manufacturing capabilities. Nearly half of the raised funds (2.022 billion yuan) will be dedicated to smart robot model R&D. The expected subscription success rate is extremely low, between 0.02% and 0.03%, reflecting high market demand.
