Unitree Launches G1+ Humanoid Robot with Upgraded Motors and Perception for 95,000 RMB
Unitree has launched the G1+ humanoid robot featuring six major upgrades, including a 2-DOF neck, improved motor torque and thermal management, enhanced vision/audio perception systems, and an external power port. The standard model is priced at 95,000 RMB (tax included), while the pricing for the research-oriented G1+ EDU version remains available upon inquiry. The G1+ provides embodied AI researchers and developers with a significantly more powerful hardware platform at an accessible price point. Reductions in motor heating by up to 72% alongside external DC power support allow for significantly longer and more demanding continuous testing and field deployments. Weighing roughly 35 kg with 25 degrees of freedom in the standard trim, the G1+ boasts a 110% increase in shoulder/waist peak torque and a stereo vision system featuring 60mm baseline dual cameras alongside 3D LiDAR. The EDU edition offers up to 70 total degrees of freedom with optional 7-DOF dexterous hands and customizable compute modules like NVIDIA Orin.
