Top Five NAND Flash Makers See 77% QoQ Revenue Growth in Q2 2026
According to a TrendForce report, the combined Q2 2026 revenue of the top five NAND flash manufacturers reached $68.87 billion, representing a 77% quarter-on-quarter increase. Micron led this growth with a 99.2% revenue surge, nearly doubling its performance from the previous quarter. The massive revenue jump highlights how the AI boom is reshaping the hardware supply chain, driving massive demand for high-capacity enterprise SSDs used in AI servers. This shift is offsetting weaker demand in traditional consumer sectors like smartphones and PCs. The market experienced a supply shortage in Q2 2026, allowing manufacturers to raise their Average Selling Prices (ASP). While SK Hynix and Micron expanded their market shares, Samsung and SanDisk experienced declines.
## BACKGROUND
NAND flash memory is a type of non-volatile storage technology that retains data without a power source, commonly used in SSDs, smartphones, and memory cards. Enterprise SSDs are high-performance, high-reliability solid-state drives designed specifically for data centers and enterprise servers to handle heavy read/write workloads.
