Tesla has officially launched Grok Bot integration for vehicles in North America, allowing drivers to handle complex external tasks using voice commands. Drivers can now review emails, manage calendars, order coffee, and complete online shopping transactions without taking their hands off the wheel. This deployment shifts automotive voice controls from simple internal vehicle functions to proactive AI agents executing real-world workflows. Combining hands-free task automation with Full Self-Driving (FSD) brings Tesla closer to offering a true mobile virtual assistant. Grok Bot interfaces with external services like Gmail via secure integration components called Connectors, activated via voice ("Hey Grok"), steering wheel buttons, or the display. Currently exclusive to SuperGrok Heavy subscribers, the feature will expand to other tiers alongside planned additions like SMS support and deeper FSD synergy.
