Tencent WorkBuddy Launches Multi-Device Synchronization and Remote Task Control
Tencent has updated its AI desktop agent, WorkBuddy, to support real-time synchronization of tasks, chat history, and files across PC, mobile apps, and mini-programs. Users can now remotely authorize or stop PC tasks from their mobile devices, even when the PC is lock-screened. This update bridges the gap between mobile and desktop workflows for AI agents, allowing users to manage long-running local automation tasks on the go without being tethered to their PCs. It enhances the usability of desktop AI agents in real-world, mobile-first work environments. To use this feature, the PC must remain powered on, and users must update to WorkBuddy App version 1.2.0+ and PC version 5.3.8+. The update also synchronizes PC workspace folders and task groups to mobile, while retaining integration with WeChat's ClawBot.
