Tencent WorkBuddy Launches Mobile Remote Control Feature
Tencent has updated its WorkBuddy AI office tool to version 2.7.0 for mobile and version 5.9.3 for macOS, introducing a new remote control feature powered by Tencent EdgeOne. This capability lets users monitor their computer screen in real time and directly operate their desktop from a mobile phone. This feature enhances the human-in-the-loop experience for AI agents by allowing users to observe execution progress and instantly correct tasks that are going off track. It bridges the gap between automated desktop AI workstations and mobile accessibility. Powered by Tencent EdgeOne, the encrypted connection consumes only data traffic and no AI tokens, operating on the condition that the computer remains powered on and WorkBuddy is online. Users can switch to full-screen mode, use virtual keyboards, and utilize precise mouse controls.
