Tencent WorkBuddy 5.5.6 Introduces Full-Stack Web App Generation
Tencent released WorkBuddy version 5.5.6, enabling users to generate and publish full-stack web applications without manual server setup. The update integrates built-in cloud database storage, file hosting, user authentication, analytics, and zero-configuration AI API calls. This update places WorkBuddy in direct competition with AI web development platforms like v0 and Lovable by offering turnkey backend infrastructure alongside frontend creation. It significantly lowers the technical barrier for non-developers and product teams to turn natural language prompts into functional, cloud-hosted web apps. Apps built with WorkBuddy support database CRUD operations, image uploading, and per-user data isolation out of the box. Under the revised plan structure, free users receive 5GB of storage and can enable cloud services for up to 10 applications, with each app allocated 5,000 monthly resource points.
