Tencent Internal Tests AI Interactive Education Community 'Dongleya'

Tencent has launched an internal test for 'Dongleya', an AI interactive content community aimed at children and teenagers that allows users to generate 3D demonstrations and dynamic courseware using natural language. The platform is currently open for small-scale testing among parent-child users and frontline teachers via its official website and WeChat mini-program. Unlike traditional EdTech apps that focus primarily on answering homework questions or grading, Dongleya shifts the focus to creative content generation, allowing non-programmers to easily build interactive learning materials. By integrating a multi-model strategy and combining content creation with community distribution, Tencent is exploring a novel approach to generative AI in K-12 education. The core interactive unit, called 'Wonder Card', is created by built-in AI agents based on text or voice prompts to produce games, 3D demos, and interactive picture books. The platform incorporates a multi-model list including various versions of DeepSeek, MiniMax M3, Kimi K3, and GLM-5.3 to route tasks according to specific generation needs.
