TCL CSOT Plans 44-Inch AI Ultra-Wide Screen for Next-Gen Terminals
TCL CSOT CEO Zhao Jun announced plans for a 44-inch WU 24:9 AI ultra-wide screen designed to support multi-window workflows. He highlighted that the rise of AI terminals imposes two core requirements on displays: low power consumption and windowed interaction. As AI computing shifts to edge devices, displays must adopt energy-saving technologies to offset the increased power draw of local AI processing. Additionally, this shift transforms displays from simple output screens into interactive hubs for multitasking across IT, automotive, and AR sectors. The planned 44-inch display features a 24:9 aspect ratio, allowing a single screen to be split into three distinct workspaces to accommodate AI Agent workflows. It aims to transition displays into interactive windows integrated with AI image quality optimization and human-factor perception.
