South Korean Tech Leaders to Meet Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in the US
Top executives from Samsung, SK Group, and NAVER are reportedly scheduled to hold a roundtable meeting with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in Silicon Valley on July 24. The meeting may also include OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to discuss AI collaboration. This meeting highlights the deepening ties between South Korea's semiconductor giants, who dominate the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) market, and leading US AI chip and model developers. It could shape the future supply chain and technological standards for AI hardware and software integration. In addition to the upcoming US meeting, Nvidia has already begun establishing a new AI technology center in South Korea to recruit local AI and robotics engineers. This follows previous high-profile meetings between Huang and South Korean business leaders in Seoul.
