Skyworth Launches AI Range Hood with Dynamic Particle Collection
Skyworth has announced its new lineup of AI range hoods at the 2026 autumn product launch, featuring dynamic particle collection technology and PM2.5 removal capabilities. The flagship L8 Ultra model boasts a maximum air volume of 35m³/min and a static pressure of 1500Pa. This release highlights the ongoing integration of artificial intelligence and advanced air purification features into traditional kitchen appliances to improve indoor air quality. It reflects a broader consumer trend toward multi-functional smart home devices that address both cooking smoke and invisible pollutants. The series incorporates an AI-LBI smoke sensing system with a 98% accuracy rate to automatically adjust fan speed, alongside AI-TVOC sensing technology to detect hazardous gases like benzene and formaldehyde. Additional functions include AI voice control, automatic oil stain self-inspection, and negative ion sterilization.
## BACKGROUND
Range hoods are kitchen ventilation appliances designed to capture and remove airborne grease, combustion products, smoke, and odors generated during cooking. Dynamic particle collection technology typically uses multi-stream airflow designs to prevent smoke leakage from traditional cooking zones.
