Six United Announces Laptop Powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 400 'Gorgon Halo'
Six United (SIXUNITED) has unveiled the AXN88B-160M-YD, one of the world's first laptops powered by AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 400 'Gorgon Halo' processor. The laptop supports up to 192GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified memory and delivers up to 120W of sustained performance output. Offering up to 192GB of high-speed unified memory in a mobile laptop form factor enables running massive large language models locally without relying on cloud infrastructure. This marks a major advancement for mobile AI workstations targeted at developers and data scientists. The 2.1kg metallic laptop features a 16-inch 2560x1600 120Hz display, dual M.2 PCIe Gen4 SSD slots, Wi-Fi 7, and a battery capacity up to 99.9Whr. I/O connectivity includes dual USB-C 40Gbps ports, a 2.5GbE RJ-45 Ethernet jack, and HDMI 2.1 supporting Fixed Rate Link (FRL) technology.
## BACKGROUND
AMD's 'Gorgon Halo' (Ryzen AI Max 400 series) processors are high-end mobile chips designed for intensive AI compute and graphics workloads by coupling multi-core CPU architectures with massive unified memory bandwidth. Additionally, HDMI 2.1 relies on Fixed Rate Link (FRL) signaling technology to achieve high data throughput necessary for uncompressed high-resolution video output.
