Shokz Launches OpenFit 2 AI Open-Ear Headphones with Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen LLM
Shokz has launched the OpenFit 2 AI open-ear headphones in China for 1,698 Yuan, featuring integration with Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen LLM. The new model supports AI-powered features such as transcription, summarization, and meeting insights. This release highlights the growing trend of embedding generative AI capabilities directly into consumer audio wearables to enhance productivity. By partnering with Alibaba, Shokz aims to transform traditional headphones into active productivity tools for business and daily tasks. The headphones feature 8GB of onboard storage (4GB per earbud) to record conversations locally, and utilize a flexible titanium alloy wire design wrapped in soft silicone. The AI capabilities also include mind mapping and multi-language transcription.
