Shokz Launches OpenFit 2 AI Headphones with Qwen LLM Integration
Shokz has launched the pre-sale of its OpenFit 2 AI open-ear headphones in China for 1,398 RMB. The new model integrates Alibaba's Qwen large language model to power advanced AI voice features, including real-time translation, transcription, and multi-dimensional summaries. This release highlights the growing trend of embedding generative AI capabilities directly into consumer wearables to enhance productivity. By integrating a localized LLM like Qwen, Shokz aims to offer seamless, on-the-go transcription and translation services for professional and daily use. The headphones feature a 48-hour total battery life, IP55 dust and water resistance, and Bluetooth 5.4 with dual-device connectivity. The AI system supports recording up to 8 hours, covers 30 languages and 19 dialects, and utilizes a 12-industry vocabulary database for precise transcription.
