Samsung to Reveal Galaxy Glasses AI Smart Glasses with Snapdragon AR1 Gen1
Samsung is set to unveil its first AI smart glasses, named Galaxy Glasses, developed in partnership with Google, Warby Parker, and Gentle Monster. The device features Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 chip and integrates Google's Gemini AI to provide real-time visual and voice assistance. This marks Samsung's entry into the emerging AI wearables market, intensifying competition with Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses. By partnering with Google and fashion brands, Samsung aims to blend advanced AI capabilities with everyday eyewear aesthetics. The glasses lack a built-in screen, relying instead on dual cameras to capture visual inputs for Gemini AI, and offer a 9-hour battery life with a charging case that provides seven additional charges.
