SAIC Roewe Jiayue 07 SUV to Debut with Momenta R7 and Doubao LLM 2.0
SAIC Roewe announced that its Jiayue 07 SUV will debut on August 13, featuring Momenta's R7 autonomous driving world model and ByteDance's Doubao LLM 2.0. This integration aims to enhance both smart driving capabilities and smart cabin interactions. The integration represents a shift toward embodied AI in the automotive industry, moving large language models from digital assistants to physical device controllers. It also highlights the growing trend of using end-to-end "world models" to exponentially improve autonomous driving capabilities. The Jiayue 07 is a range-extended electric vehicle powered by a 1.5L engine and a drive motor with a peak power of 162kW. The Doubao LLM 2.0 integration, powered by Volcano Engine, enables the vehicle to perform physical device scheduling, decision-making, and execution.
