SAIC MG 07 to Receive OTA Upgrade to Momenta R7 World Model

SAIC's newly launched MG 07 will receive an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade to the Momenta R7 world model, enabling "parking space to parking space" autonomous driving and driving roaming. The vehicle currently utilizes Momenta's reinforcement learning model and the XHEART X7 dedicated chip. This update demonstrates the deployment of advanced Physical AI and world models in budget-friendly consumer vehicles, making high-end autonomous driving capabilities accessible at lower price points. It also highlights the growing integration of dedicated large-model chips in production vehicles to handle complex real-time decision-making. The Momenta R7 world model is expected to significantly improve decision-making in complex scenarios, allowing the MG 07 to anticipate risks and drive more assertively. The MG 07 is priced between 105,900 and 156,900 RMB, with over 95% of buyers opting for the Momenta smart driving package.
