Rokid Partners with Tencent to Launch Industry's First AI Glasses Ride-Hailing Service
Rokid has partnered with Tencent Mobility Services to launch the industry's first native ride-hailing service for AI glasses, allowing users to call cabs entirely through voice commands and HUD displays. This integration demonstrates a practical application of AI agents in wearable devices, streamlining user workflows and lowering the barrier for individuals who struggle with smartphone interfaces. The system uses an A2A (Agent-to-Agent) standard protocol to connect Rokid's perception agent with Tencent's mobility service agent, supporting tasks like location recommendations, multi-vehicle comparison, and order tracking.
## BACKGROUND
AI glasses are lightweight wearable devices equipped with built-in sensors and displays designed to integrate artificial intelligence directly into the user's field of vision. A2A (Agent-to-Agent) architecture allows different autonomous software agents to communicate, negotiate, and collaborate directly without requiring manual user intervention for every step.
