Rayson Releases 96GB 9600MT/s LPDDR5X LPCAMM2 Memory Module for AI PCs
Memory module company Rayson has announced a 96GB LPDDR5X LPCAMM2 memory module capable of transfer speeds up to 9600MT/s, targeting high-performance AI PC applications. The module has already passed compatibility verification with major international PC manufacturers. High-capacity, high-speed modular memory is essential for running modern local AI workloads and large language models on personal computers without sacrificing portability or battery life. LPCAMM2 enables user upgradeability for LPDDR memory, which was previously restricted to being soldered directly onto motherboards. Measuring 78×23×3 mm, the new LPCAMM2 module reduces physical PCB footprint by roughly 60%, cuts power consumption by 50%, and boosts energy efficiency by 70% compared to conventional DDR5 SO-DIMMs. Rayson is also offering the memory in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB variants.
