RayNeo Launches iO AI Glasses Featuring All-Day Smart Memo
RayNeo has launched the RayNeo iO AI glasses, a lightweight wearable designed to look like everyday eyewear while functioning as a personal assistant. The glasses feature the "All-Day Smart Memo" function, which continuously records, transcribes, and summarizes voice information at low power. As tech giants rush into the AI wearables market, RayNeo's focus on lightweight design and continuous ambient recording addresses the comfort and utility barriers of previous smart glasses. This release highlights the industry trend of integrating generative AI into everyday form factors for seamless, hands-free productivity. The glasses weigh just 34 grams, utilizing a tiny 0.085 cm³ Nano optical engine and a 0.6 mm thin waveguide lens. It supports up to 18 hours of continuous recording, 6.2 hours of translation, and features a "Smart Crown" dial on the temple for physical interaction.
## BACKGROUND
RayNeo, incubated by TCL Electronics, is a prominent player in the AR and smart glasses industry. Smart glasses typically struggle to balance battery life, display quality, and weight, but recent advancements in Micro-LED and optical waveguide technologies have enabled manufacturers to shrink components to fit standard eyeglass frames.
