Rabbit Releases OS3, a Cloud Agent OS Supporting Multi-Device Orchestration
AI startup Rabbit announced the release of OS3, a cloud-based agent operating system that controls software and third-party hardware through a single chat interface. After a user sets a target goal, OS3 automatically schedules models, local files, and up to five connected devices per account to complete the task. This software release marks a strategic pivot for Rabbit away from dedicated hardware like the Rabbit R1 toward software-level agent orchestration across existing user devices. It reflects the broader industry trend toward agentic operating systems capable of direct computer control and multi-device task execution. OS3 operates on a bring-your-own-API-key model, executing only user-initiated actions and processing context strictly through specified model providers. In addition to managing up to five devices, it supports automated programming, direct computer control, and continuous single-chat context.

Agent operating systems (AIOS) integrate large language models into standard system architectures to manage agent workflows, execute computer actions, and schedule compute resources efficiently.
