Plaud Launches Plaud One AI TWS Earphones with Built-in eSIM and MCP Support
Plaud has launched Plaud One, a $249.99 AI-powered TWS earphone featuring a built-in 4G LTE eSIM and ambient recording capabilities up to 5 meters. Available in a limited run of 2,000 units, the device connects with Model Context Protocol (MCP) services to automatically convert real-time conversations into automated workflows. This product represents a move toward standalone wearable AI hardware that operates continuously without requiring a smartphone link. By integrating MCP support directly into an earphone, it showcases how ambient audio hardware can capture physical conversations to drive automated digital tasks. Audio specifications include 12mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 5.4, hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 40dB, and support for Sony's high-resolution LDAC codec alongside SBC. Battery life is rated at up to 36 hours for audio playback and up to 25 hours for continuous recording.
