NVIDIA and Perplexity have officially launched Portable Computer for Windows RTX PCs and RTX PRO workstations equipped with at least 24GB of VRAM. Expanding beyond its initial availability on Linux and DGX Spark systems, the platform comes pre-packaged with a fine-tuned Qwen 3.8 27B model optimized for RTX GPUs. This expansion allows desktop users to run complex, multi-step agentic workflows completely on device without uploading sensitive files to cloud servers or burning through cloud service quotas.
