OPPO has officially launched the recruitment phase for its "Xiaobu Next" AI initiative, designed to test next-generation agentic AI features on selected flagship devices. The initiative introduces capabilities like all-domain memory, all-time perception, and collaborative expert AI groups to proactively solve complex tasks. This initiative marks a shift from reactive, question-answering voice assistants to proactive, agentic AI systems that can operate with greater autonomy on mobile devices. By prioritizing on-device processing, OPPO aims to deliver these advanced capabilities while maintaining user privacy. The initial beta testing phase supports premium devices from both OPPO and OnePlus, including the Find X9 and Find X8 series, as well as the OnePlus 15 and 13 series. The system leverages collaborative AI agents to break down and solve multi-step problems.
