OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Slides for AI-Powered Team Presentations
OpenAI has officially launched ChatGPT Slides, a presentation tool within ChatGPT Space that allows users to generate, edit, and collaborate on slides using AI. Users can create presentations from uploaded files or templates, invite team members for real-time editing, and export the results to PowerPoint or Google Slides. This release expands OpenAI's ecosystem directly into workspace and productivity tools, competing with established platforms like Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint. It enhances team collaboration by integrating conversational AI directly into the document creation and editing workflow. ChatGPT Slides is currently available only to users on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans as part of ChatGPT Space, meaning ChatGPT Plus users do not have access. Finished presentations can be exported as PDF or PowerPoint files, or opened directly in external software.
## BACKGROUND
ChatGPT Space is a workspace feature introduced by OpenAI that brings pages, uploaded files, and collaborative tools together in one place. It replaces the older Library feature for eligible accounts, allowing teams to organize related content and work alongside AI.
