OneXPlayer Previews Super X PRO 2-in-1 Tablet with Ryzen AI Max+ 495
OneXPlayer has previewed the upcoming Super X PRO 2-in-1 tablet, which features the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 495 processor and up to 192GB of unified memory. The device is designed to run large local AI models with up to 300 billion parameters. This announcement marks a significant milestone in mobile hardware by packing workstation-class AI processing capabilities and massive unified memory into a portable 2-in-1 form factor. It enables developers and creators to run heavy local AI models and demanding workloads without relying heavily on cloud infrastructure. The tablet features memory speeds of 8533MT/s with bandwidth up to 273GB/s, allowing up to 160GB to be allocated to the Radeon 8065S GPU as VRAM. Additional specifications include a 2.8K AMOLED 120Hz display, a full-sized M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD, an 85.58Wh battery, and support for external liquid cooling to boost performance up to 120W.
## BACKGROUND
Unified memory architecture integrates the CPU, GPU, and system memory into a single shared pool, significantly improving data transfer efficiency and allowing graphics processors to access massive amounts of memory for AI workloads. A 2-in-1 tablet combines the portability of a tablet with the performance and detachable keyboard versatility of a laptop.
