NVIDIA RTX PRO 5500 Blackwell Leaks at $17,999 MSRP
The upcoming NVIDIA RTX PRO 5500 Blackwell GPU has surfaced with an MSRP of $17,999, which is surprisingly higher than the previously released RTX PRO 6000 priced at $16,000. This unexpected pricing anomaly in the enterprise-tier hardware lineup raises questions about NVIDIA's segmentation strategy for workstations and AI workloads. It offers hardware enthusiasts and professionals new insights into the cost scaling of next-generation architectures. The leak indicates that the RTX PRO 5500 Blackwell carries a higher price tag than a nominally higher-tier model like the RTX PRO 6000, defying traditional naming conventions and pricing hierarchies.
## BACKGROUND
