NVIDIA Partners with Financial Giants to Create $500B AI Infrastructure Financing Platform
NVIDIA has signed a memorandum of understanding with six leading financial institutions, including BlackRock and Goldman Sachs, to establish a financing platform capable of mobilizing $500 billion in third-party capital. This initiative aims to fund AI computing infrastructure and build "AI factories" for various industries. This partnership transforms AI computing infrastructure into a mainstream, investable asset class for global capital, lowering borrowing costs for NVIDIA's customers. It ensures a steady flow of long-term institutional funding to accelerate the deployment of large-scale AI hardware worldwide. NVIDIA will act as a matchmaking platform between capital providers and customers, and may support projects by guaranteeing up to 25% of the residual value in certain cases. The platform leverages the flexibility of NVIDIA's GPU hardware and the longevity provided by its CUDA software ecosystem.
## BACKGROUND
Building AI infrastructure requires massive capital for specialized hardware like NVIDIA DGX systems, which act as "AI factories" to process complex AI workloads. NVIDIA's proprietary CUDA software platform allows developers to program these GPUs for general-purpose computing, making the hardware highly versatile and long-lasting.
