ZTE Nubia has launched the NaviX Ultra smartphone, featuring ByteDance's consumer-version Doubao Mobile Assistant deeply integrated into its new Obric UI. The device leverages system-level AI agent capabilities to execute complex, cross-application automated tasks directly on behalf of the user. This commercial release marks a concrete transition in mobile technology from basic voice assistants to proactive, OS-level AI agents capable of operating third-party apps autonomously. It highlights a strategic hardware-software partnership trend between smartphone manufacturers and leading AI model providers like ByteDance. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the NaviX Ultra maintains a thin 7.62mm profile and 208g body while packing a 7,100mAh battery, IP68/IP69 ratings, and a periscope camera setup.
