Nubia has announced the beta testing program and upcoming livestream for its NaviX Ultra AI Agent smartphone, which integrates the Doubao AI assistant and a dedicated physical AI button. The initial evolution livestream is scheduled for October 14. This development highlights the growing trend of deep operating-system and hardware-level AI integration in mobile devices, aiming to allow AI agents to execute complex cross-app tasks autonomously. It showcases how manufacturers are competing to bring native AI assistant experiences directly to consumer hardware. Priced starting at 5,999 CNY, the Nubia NaviX Ultra features a dedicated hardware AI button integrated with a fingerprint scanner, a Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform, a 6.78-inch LTPO 2.0 display, and a 7100mAh battery. It utilizes ByteDance's latest full-duplex Seed speech large model to support advanced voice activation and dialect recognition.
