Nubia Launches NaviX Ultra Smartphone Integrated with ByteDance Doubao AI Agent

ZTE's Nubia has launched the NaviX Ultra smartphone in China starting at 5,999 RMB, featuring deep integration with ByteDance's Doubao AI assistant to execute complex, cross-application tasks via voice commands. The device comes equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor, a dedicated AI button with built-in fingerprint recognition, and a 7,100 mAh battery. This launch highlights the smartphone industry's shift from basic AI chat features toward autonomous mobile AI agents capable of navigating multiple apps on behalf of users. It also reflects deepening hardware-software partnerships between telecom equipment makers like ZTE and internet giants like ByteDance to capture the AI device market. The phone features a 6.78-inch 144Hz LTPO 2.0 display with up to 4,500 nits peak brightness and a triple-camera setup led by a 200MP main sensor. It relies on ByteDance's Seed full-duplex voice model for low-latency conversational AI and supports 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
