Nex AGI Releases Nex N2.5 Pro, a 407GB Multimodal AI Model
Nex AGI has released Nex N2.5 Pro, an open model weight package totaling 407GB. It is the mid-tier entry in the new Nex N2.5 family built specifically for multimodal computer use and long-horizon tasks. The release provides the open-source community with access to a massive model designed for agentic workflows like browser navigation and software execution. This expands the ecosystem for local AI agents capable of operating desktop interfaces via visual feedback. Nex N2.5 Pro operates alongside Mini and a 1.6-trillion parameter MoE model (Max) within the Nex N2.5 family. It utilizes visual feedback mechanisms to perceive desktop environments, run and test code, and visually verify progress during complex web and computer automation tasks.
## BACKGROUND
Computer-use agents are specialized AI models trained to observe screens, move cursors, and type input to execute end-to-end workflows in real-world operating environments. Unlike traditional chat models, these agentic models rely heavily on visual grounding and multi-step reasoning to correct errors when software interfaces change during execution.
