Nex-AGI Releases Nex-N2.5-Max Language Model on Hugging Face
Nex-AGI has published the repository for Nex-N2.5-Max on Hugging Face as part of its next-generation family of agentic AI models. This model expands the Nex-N2.5 lineup, which also includes Mini and Pro variants. The release provides access to high-capability agentic models designed for complex workflows such as code execution, search, and tool calling. This expands the ecosystem of capable open-weight models available for local deployment and integration. The Nex-N2.5 architecture standardizes chain-of-thought processing through goal decomposition, state tracking, and self-verification. Within the family, Max acts as the flagship variant alongside smaller editions like Nex-N2.5-Mini, which is a 35B parameter mixture-of-experts (MoE) model with roughly 3B active parameters.
## BACKGROUND
Agentic AI models are specialized language models trained to conduct multi-step reasoning, operate software tools, and perform complex tasks autonomously rather than generating static responses. Nex-AGI focuses on building full-stack agent platforms and open-weight model ecosystems to advance practical AI autonomy.
