Neolix Pivots to Robotics, Aiming for 110M-Node Unmanned Logistics Network

At the World Robot Conference, Neolix CEO Yu Enyuan announced the company's strategic transition from an autonomous driving firm to a robotics company. The company aims to build a massive unmanned logistics network consisting of 10 million autonomous vehicles and 100 million robots to cover the entire supply chain. This pivot highlights a growing trend where autonomous driving companies expand into embodied AI to solve the warehouse handling and "last mile" challenges that vehicles alone cannot address. By automating loading, unloading, and shelving, Neolix aims to drastically reduce end-to-end logistics costs. Neolix's autonomous fleet has surpassed 27,000 vehicles with over 220 million kilometers driven, and is projected to reach 150,000 vehicles next year. The company's roadmap includes four embodied AI forms: robovans, semi-embodied loading robots, semi-embodied shelving robots, and fully embodied robots.

## BACKGROUND

Neolix is a Chinese autonomous delivery vehicle developer known for building smart city logistics infrastructure. Embodied AI refers to artificial intelligence systems embedded within a physical form that perceive and interact with the physical world through sensors and actuators. This technology bridges the gap between digital intelligence and physical execution, allowing robots to perform complex real-world tasks.
