ModelBest's MiniCPM Series Surpasses 50 Million Downloads and Integrates into Samsung Galaxy AI

ModelBest announced that its MiniCPM series of open-source edge-side AI models has surpassed 50 million global downloads. Additionally, the MiniCPM models have been integrated into Samsung's Galaxy AI, powering its flagship foldable smartphones. This integration marks the first time a Chinese-developed edge-side large language model has entered the global flagship lineup of a leading international smartphone manufacturer. It demonstrates the increasing maturity and commercial viability of running highly efficient AI models directly on consumer hardware. The latest MiniCPM5-2B model, co-released with OpenBMB, achieved the highest score for models under 4B parameters on the Artificial Analysis leaderboard. Furthermore, the models support Int4 quantization, allowing them to occupy only 2GB of space and run efficiently on mobile chips.
