Microsoft Reportedly Developing 12-Inch Surface Powered by Nvidia RTX Spark
According to tech leaker Roland Quandt, Microsoft is internally developing a compact 12-inch Surface device codenamed "Minos." The device may feature Nvidia's RTX Spark chip to power local AI capabilities alongside high-memory configurations of 24GB or 32GB RAM. If confirmed, this would mark a major partnership between Microsoft and Nvidia to bring custom ARM-based AI hardware to compact PCs, expanding the Windows AI PC ecosystem. It could also signal a new direction for ultraportable Surface devices focused on heavy local AI processing. The unannounced device is rumored to offer 512GB or 1TB of storage, with pricing described as unusually high.
