Microsoft Announces Copilot Canvas for Excel to Build Interactive AI Dashboards

Microsoft is adding Copilot Canvas to Excel, a new feature that automatically converts workbook data into an interactive dashboard of charts, key metrics, and insights. Users can customize and modify the visual dashboard through natural language chats with Copilot, and the canvas automatically updates whenever the underlying data changes. This feature streamlines data analysis by eliminating the need to constantly switch between multiple sheets and complex charts in Excel.
