MetaX C-Series GPUs Achieve Day 0 Compatibility with MiniMax H3 Multimodal Model

MetaX announced that its C-series GPUs have achieved Day 0 compatibility with MiniMax's newly released H3 multimodal generative model. This integration is enabled by MetaX's self-developed MXMACA software stack, allowing users to deploy the model immediately. This compatibility demonstrates the rapid adaptation capabilities of the domestic Chinese GPU software ecosystem in supporting cutting-edge multimodal models. It provides AI developers with alternative hardware options for deploying advanced video and audio generation models like MiniMax H3. The MXMACA software stack natively supports over 40 mainstream AI frameworks, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, vLLM, and SGLang, and is compatible with more than 500 AI models. MiniMax H3 is an open-weights omni-modal model capable of generating 2K video with native stereo audio up to 15 seconds long.

## BACKGROUND

MetaX is a Chinese fabless semiconductor company specializing in high-performance GPUs for AI training and inference. MiniMax is a prominent Chinese AI startup, and its H3 model is a state-of-the-art multimodal model that processes text, images, video, and audio. "Day 0 compatibility" means the hardware supports a new software or model immediately upon its release without requiring post-launch patches.
