Meta Introduces Horizon Create and Horizon Studio AI Game Creation Tools
Meta announced Horizon Create, a mobile app for generating game prototypes via AI prompts, alongside Horizon Studio, a browser-based editor for refining projects. These tools enable users to build complete 2D and 3D games that can be played instantly within Facebook and Instagram feeds without downloading extra apps. This initiative lowers the entry barrier to game development, allowing non-technical creators to turn prompt ideas into interactive experiences directly on mobile devices. By integrating instant play directly into social feeds, Meta leverages Facebook and Instagram's massive reach to drive discoverability for user-generated games.
